With over 20 years of experience in biotechnology, infectious disease, synthetic biology, and biosurveillance, I have led high-impact research and strategic initiatives shaping global health security. In my role as a senior scientific leader at a major applied research institution, I have directed multidisciplinary teams focused on biosecurity threats, disease detection, and emerging technologies in diagnostics. My work spans government collaborations, international health engagement, and cutting-edge biotech innovation.

Previously, I played a key role in biotech industry R&D, consulting for the Department of Defense (DoD), and leading biomanufacturing, molecular diagnostics, and disease surveillance programs at the intersection of science and technology.
